The early childhood years lay the foundation for good development. At Rehab Space, we work closely with you and your child to establish practical goals aligned with the needs and priorities of your family.
This may start with a formal or informal developmental assessment which will allow you to understand how your child is progressing with their gross motor skills. Subsequently, we will explore various therapy alternatives and guide you on how to foster your child’s learning and development.

At Rehab Space, we are here to support you with your NDIS planning meeting. We work closely with you to understand your child’s therapy goals and conduct relevant assessments to enable detailed and insightful reports.
Our goal is to empower you in navigating the planning process with confidence and clarity.

The use of specialist standing and walking frames can help improve the function of bones, muscles, heart and lungs. It also allows opportunities to interact with other children, enhancing their alertness and cognition, building their self-confidence.
Our skilled staff can assist you in selecting equipment that is adaptable and flexible to meet your child’s specific needs.

Rehabilitation following prolonged hospital stay.
Rehabilitation after a neurological event such as stroke, brain injury.
Rehabilitation following a surgery e.g. orthopaedic, neurosurgical etc.

Hydrotherapy can be an excellent substitution for land-based therapy. The buoyancy of water can help reduce joint loading and help with movement against gravity, while its resistance can improve postural and limb strength during rehabilitation.
Besides all the above benefits, playing in the water is fun and can promote increased physical activity for your child. Our therapist, can meet you at your nearby pool for easy accessibility, and we will offer guidance on the type of activities to perform with your child in the water and how to ensure their safety.
